Our Community

Vogel Bros. believes in giving back to the community, actively supporting organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the United Way, and numerous charities and events in the communities we work in.

For the last fifteen years, Vogel Bros. has partnered with Madison Urban Ministry to provide Dane County area school children with school supplies. The program, School Supplies for Kids, distributes more than $50,000 worth of supplies to nearly 15,000 children annually.

Vogel Bros. annually supports Madison's Race for the Cure by providing a construction crew to help assemble staging for the event.

David Vogel, Chairman of the Board of Vogel Bros. Building Co. was the recipient of the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin's Honorary Membership in 2003 and the Associate Board of Directors 2004 Community Service Award. .  Most recently, Vogel Bros. was honored as "More than a Family Business" at the annual Wisconsin Family Business Awards.  These awards recognize individuals within the membership who distinguish themselves by making exemplary contributions to their community above and beyond the normal course of business.

David Vogel says, "We're very proud that our company has maintained its integrity over the years.  As my father George Vogel II said, in life and in business, one needs to live in a posture of service.  It is my intent that our company will continue to do so."

As important, is the impact our projects have had on the culture and lifestyles of the residents of our communities.  In Madison, projects such as the Barrymore Theater (formerly the Eastwood Theater), Claredon Apartments, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Hartmeyer Ice Rink, UW Alumni House, East YMCA, Goodman Community Center, and countless schools, churches, banks and healthcare facilities that help define what is so unique about Madison.

These projects are the fabric of our communities.  Vogel Bros. has built numerous schools, water treatment facilities, community centers, hospitals, eldercare facilities, office buildings, municipal buildings, technology centers, production facilities and university buildings.
