$31 million chemical plant opens in Verona!
When SAFC Pharma begins manufacturing highly potent ingredients for cutting-edge drugs later this month in Verona, company officials say they'll be more than ready.
Construction of the $31 million facility wrapped up last December, but a ribbon-cutting event Tueday set the stage for the plant - and its local employees - to launch production by mid-April, said Operations Director Dave Bormett.
Attendees at the ribbon cutting ceremony included Governor James Doyle, Secretary of Commerce Dick Leinenkugel, Mayor Jon Hockhammer, Director of Operations Dave Bormett and SAFC Pharma Vice President David Feldker.
