The State of Florida had invested $17.5 million to conserve and enhance a multi-billion-dollar industry.

One of a kind in Florida, Vogel Bros. was selected by the Florida Wildlife and Conservation Commission in constructing a State-of-the-Art Fish Hatchery in Sumter County.

The hatchery complex consisted of a 24,000 sq. ft. Production Facility, 10,000 sq. ft., Two Story Office Building, 3,700 sq. ft. Transfer Pavilion, 2,500 sq. ft. Maintenance Facility.

This project features ultraviolet disinfection, ozone injection, and a genetics laboratory.
