features:
The first phase project that resulted from the completed plan was a remodel of the existing imaging rooms adjacent to the new imaging suite that was created in the old ER space. This space reflected adopted HIPAA policies as well as long needed renovations and improved spaces for mammography, ultrasound, and nuclear sciences. Construction included the remodel of the hospital basement areas into Health Information Management and Information Technology Departments. Remodels included the existing Radiology Department in 5 phases while occupied. Construction also included a new main entrance addition to the hospital with a drive-under canopy, Gift Shop, and Resource Center, information services, medical records, and a physicians lounge.

Vogel Bros. Building Co. participated in the design process with HGA attending all schematic and design development meetings with Columbus Community Hospital.
