The Deerfield Community School District Middle/High School interior office renovation took only eight weeks from start to finish. It consisted of remodeling approximately 2,225 square feet of existing office space, replacing the existing entrance doors and adding a concession area.
The revised office space included a new reception area, offices, health room, work room, guidance reception, and two new conference rooms. The existing HVAC system was modified to serve the revised layout as well as plumbing to accommodate two new sinks. Electric work consisted of new lighting, power, fire alarm, and voice/data receptacles throughout. All finishes are new including casework and VCT flooring, ceiling tile and paint.
The space along the existing cafeteria was converted to function as a concession area. This space also included new casework, sheet vinyl flooring and a coiling door for access with large equipment. The existing exterior and interior aluminum entrance framing was replaced with new doors, frames and hardware. Additionally, provisions were made for the future capability to lock and unlock all doors via remote access.
