Vogel Bros. Building Co. has partnered with the Deerfield Community School District Middle/High School for several renovations and addition since 2010. Our first project was an interior office renovation of approximately 2,225 square feet that was completed in eight weeks. The revised office space included a new reception area, offices, health room, work room, guidance reception, and two new conference rooms. The existing HVAC system was modified to serve the revised layout as well as plumbing to accommodate two new sinks. Electric work consisted of new lighting, power, fire alarm and voice/data receptacles throughout. All finishes are new including casework and VCT flooring, ceiling tile and paint. The space along the existing cafeteria was converted to function as a concession area. This space also included new casework, sheet vinyl flooring and a coiling door for access with large equipment. The existing exterior and interior aluminum entrance framing was replaced with new doors, frames and hardware. Additionally, provisions were made for the future capability to lock and unlock all doors via remote access.
Our most recent project centered around updates to their athletic facilities including a 4,000 square foot fitness room addition, varsity and junior varsity locker room renovations, athletic field storage shed, bleacher replacement, pressbox and concession building, and ticket booth.
