Project Description

Construction of a new 3.75 MGD industrial wasteload reduction facility to reduce Influent BOD loadings from 2000 mg/L to 100 mg/L, utilizing a BNR process to achieve nitrogen and phosphorus levels. Project included stainless steel pipe for the blowers, a 1360 KW generator and fuel tank, and a new instrumentation and control system. The project also included an administration facility, vendor packaged treatment system with aeration blowers, headworks structure; screening & removal equipment; gas phase odor control system; effluent pumping station, wetwell; bridge over existing ditch; 16” & 20” pipelines including jack and bore, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical work; yard piping, sitework and appurtenances. UV disinfection and lime stabilization was used for sludge treatment.
